Keeping records will enable you to better protect and maintain your system dramatically extending your system's service life.


In case you sell your house, your records will show a prospective buyer that your system has been properly maintained.

records

  • 1. Maintenance Performance Log

    Date, what was done, and reason for the maintenance (Example: measure sludge and scum layers, Tank digestive bacteria boost, Drain field flow test, Bio Mat remediation, Tank Cleaning, etc.).

  • 2. Maintenance Inspection Log

    Date, what was observed during the septic system maintenance inspection (Example: any unpleasant odors, soggy soil, lush green grass over the lateral lines, surfacing wastewater, excessive sludge and scum layer build-up since the last measurement, Plants with invasive root systems growing too close to the system, reduction in drain field flow since last flow test, etc.).

  • 3. Site Drawing

    Show accurately the layout of the system on your lot. Include exact distances of each portion of the system from fixed reference points (Example: corner of house, garage, large trees, property line markers).

  • 4. Any permits or receipts

    (Example: Septic installation permits, Septic installation final inspection report, Installation receipt, etc.).
